Oxidized Bitumen Insulation Membrane

Description

BOF is a high-quality product created using a unique blend of oxidized bitumen, strengthened by glass fiber mats and a non-woven polyester layer. This product is engineered to deliver peak performance. It's important to note that no recycled materials are incorporated into the manufacturing process. Additionally, the bitumen used is primarily sourced from our own subsidiaries or the top refineries in the country. The product is meticulously manufactured in compliance with relevant standards.

Varieties

This product comes in two variations. The first option is a standard model designed for surfaces intended to be completely covered following the installation of the insulation material. The second option features an aluminum foil covering, perfect for insulating surfaces that will remain uncovered after the installation of the insulation material. The aluminum foil on the exterior building surfaces significantly reduces unwanted thermal absorption by reflecting UV radiation.

Applications

BOF has a wide range of applications for insulating different roofs and surfaces, kitchens, sanitary units, bathrooms, building foundations, swimming pools, fountains, and more. This product can be used on diverse surfaces such as bitumen, metal, stone, and bricks.

Surfaces Suitable for Installation

This product can be installed on concrete, metal, stone and brick surfaces.

Installation

Please refer to Roofing Insulation Standard Guidelines.

Standard

This product has been produced in compliance with the regulations of the roofing insulation quality control standard No: 7585852008, under the supervision of the Iran Institute of Standards and Industrial Research.

Storage

The insulation material supplied in rolls should be stored away from direct sunlight, on a flat surface, in an upright position, placed next to each other.

Precautions

Ensure that all surfaces, including the concrete used as the building material, are completely dry; otherwise, the insulation material may lose its adhesive function due to moisture evaporating into the insulated surfaces. If construction activities are ongoing, the insulated surfaces should be adequately covered.
